Angel colours with Unicef!

We've been meaning to do this for a little while and now we have! Unicef has been running a fantastic online campaign called 'Own a colour.' Donors are able to choose from over 16 million unique colors and then purchase them for as little as £1 - with all of the money going directly to Unicef to help change children's lives.

The idea is incredibly simple, yet wonderfully innovative at the same time, you can see the steps here...

Supporting through Kiva

At Angel we are always interested in innovative ways to make a difference, and that’s why we love Kiva. Kiva’s platform enables users to loan amounts as small as $25 directly to those who need it most. Their website allows users to choose see and track the progress of the exact individual that’s benefiting from your loan.


We are currently supporting John below:

Kiva John

John is 30 years old from Ndunyu Njeru in Kenya and is a single man.

John has a motorcycle transport business that he runs and has applied for a loan from KADET LTD, to enable him be able to cater for the service charges of his bike.

He is optimistic that the motorbike will function well and enable him to carry his customers with ease. He hopes to expand his business and buy mini- buses.

Angel and a New Year!

Christmas and the New Year period are always huge highlights of the calendar here at Angel; and this season was no exception!


Late 2011 saw many fantastic new clients arrive with us including Sense, VSO and The Donkey Sanctuary – all of whom were excited and confident in using Angel’s charity call handling expertise and our wealth of experience to assist them in successful DRTV campaigns.

For the third consecutive year we also handled calls for the massive Salvation Army Christmas appeal which once again performed excellently and resulted in Angel taking millions of pounds worth of donations – all going to a great cause.

We recently expanded our premises by opening a brand new 30 seat call area – separated from our main call centre. The space really came into its intended use over the festive period when it allowed us to physically separate smaller and newly starting campaigns away from those with large volumes. The separation shows Angel’s commitment to apply the care and attention to detail that is crucial to all campaigns regardless of size.

So far we’ve been off to a flying start in 2012 after winning a pitch process and being selected by The RNIB to handle responses for their upcoming DRTV campaign due to start in February.

We are extremely excited to progress into the New Year with the same momentum and continued development that we have enjoyed throughout 2011.

We’ll be working on some case studies in the coming weeks for some of our recent Christmas campaigns, so be sure to check back soon to see some stats from behind the scenes here at Angel!
